Which Fuel is Most Eco-friendly?
Petrol fuelled cars will cause the biggest carbon footprint generally, though it is now possible, if you do happened to own a petrol fuelled car, to reduce your carbon footprint by using petrol with low Co2 emissions. The petrol fuelled cars that do have low Co2 Emissions however, are usually the petrol fuelled cars that are small or have relatively small engines however, so make sure that you understand the size of your car in order to understand how much fuel you should be using. Apart from petrol fuelled cars, it is in fact a lot better to use diesel to fuel your car, as in general this will come with a smaller carbon footprint, though unfortunately it is one of the more expensive car fuel gases on the market. If you really want to make a difference to your carbon footprint you will have to buy into a hybrid car or an electric car, which will often be solar powered, and will not have to use any kind of petrol or gas to get the car going, which makes it energy efficient and incredibly usable.
The Smaller the Better
The only problem with some of the cars that use petrol are that the larger cars do in fact use up more Co2, and therefore they are much worse for the environment. If you really wish to make a difference you will have to start by purchasing a smaller car, because the smaller vehicles, that use less petrol, will certainly not do quite as much damage to the environment as some other vehicles. Make sure that when you shop around for either petrol or vehicles, that you try your best to buy into eco friendly purchases, because it will make a difference, even if it does not seem like it would at first. The best way to shop around for vehicles is to make sure that the vehicle is a green one, and the same goes for gases, always making sure that they are in some way less damaging to the environment.
Although it is more expensive, many people who are environment conscious are now changing to diesel petrol because it is far better for the environment, though of course you can take it a step further by buying into a car that does not use any gas. Some of the solar powered vehicles are still being developed, but there are now many out there which are suitable for any driver looking to get from a to b, and they are much better for the environment. Make sure that when you look out for vehicles and petrol that you also check to see how much you can afford, because petrol itself can be a little expensive, and a simple solution to cleansing the environment and saving money, is to drive less.
Filling the Tank
Although we all need to fill up our tank and get places in a vehicle, there are in fact other ways of getting places, and it is important to be aware of the environment and do what you can to improve it. If you are driving a vehicle and you know that you could do better in terms of how much you are spending on petrol, try and think about walking a few places instead, especially if they are just around the corner. Some people who are particularly environmentally friendly are now purchasing electric cars, which are far less harmful to the environment than other vehicles, so make sure that if you can you start saving up for a better future.
